Why am I closed Mon - Wed?

Hey gang to put it bluntly the computer business isn't what it used to be. The recession of 2000-2001 was bad and cost me a lot of money. It took me to 2007 to fully recover from that. This recession is worse and business is down 60%. This was even before I started closing on Monday and Wednesday.

Other major issue is that UK no longer sells surplus computer equipment. This local source was great for me and for you the customer. Now I don't have access to low cost computer systems to pass on to you the customer. This being said I believe that I do still have the lowest prices in Lexington for many things.

My theory here is to do other things outside of the computer store to keep the cash flow going until the recession over. I'm thinking the back to school season will be better and I can open more often or fully open. Gotta play this one by ear.

If I do this then Computer Pieces and Parts will still be here after the recession instead of becoming another CompUSA or Circuit City.

I'm sorry in advance to those of you that come to find a locked door. PLEASE always call or check my web site before you visit.
